Attempted HDR photos

I took a photography last semester that I quite enjoyed, mostly because it gave me motivation to actually go outside and take photographs. Since the class has ended, I have kept my camera at home. I love taking photos outside, but I want make scenes to take photographs of. For my final project in one of my classes, I was planning on making another horror video, my favorite genre of movies to film, probably because I've seen one too many horror movies, many of them quite horrible. Now that the weeks have passed and I have not settled on a script, I've begun thinking about taking photographs and editing them extensively in Photoshop. I'll most likely continue down the road of dark imagery.

Tres, Outdoor Adventure Cat

When Tres first came into the family, he was a bit funny looking because he was too skinny, but now that he has fully grown into his body, he is quite a beautiful cat, especially in natural light.
Tres was given the privilege to go outside on a leash and it was an exciting experience for the whole family. He carefully walked through the tall grass, perked his ears at every passing sound and ate grass after every couple steps. These photos perfectly document his happy moments outdoors.

Apartment inspiration

I can't wait to transform my new apartment into a beautiful home. I want to love every corner and expand my knowledge of interior design, cooking and alternative ways to find pure, unfiltered relaxation.

These are a few of my favorite photos that I have taken. I love nature photography-- the fresh air going through your body, the heat of the sun against your face-- I don't go outside as much as I would like.

New apartment

 

My boyfriend and I have been living in the same apartment for two years now, a quaint one bedroom on the wrong side of town, but in two weeks, we shall be relocating to our ideal apartment for this time in our life. I am thrilled- beyond thrilled. I'm not one who likes to be in one spot for too long, and I feel as though this move will be a new chapter.
The interior matches the gorgeous exterior with a huge kitchen, a large master bedroom and an extra bedroom which we plan to transform into a yoga/zen/computer/TV/showcase room. I, of course, want the yoga room, with a stylish futon for company, but I'm willing to compromise a computer in the corner or perhaps a TV, if it's on the wall. The less furniture the better. I truly believe that where you live and the atmosphere of your home effects you mentally. I also want to incorporate brighter colors, which shall be a challenge since I seem to live my life in black and white.
